Meet Lauren Stephan, a Psychiatric Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner here at MyNDSpace®. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a minor in Psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Science in Nursing from Drexel University.

Since 2014, Lauren has worked as a Psychiatric Nurse in multiple settings (inpatient, outpatient, crisis residential). She was also an Adjunct Nursing Professor at Gannon University and a Nurse Supervisor at Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral Health. Lauren joined our team in December 2022 and has proven to be a steadying force for our staff. Lauren's commitment to her patients is admirable, as she balances her time between MyNDSpace® and our various community partners.

In her spare time, Lauren enjoys traveling, hanging out at the beach and pool, frequenting bonfires and concerts, and spending time with her family, friends, and two precious cats, Rebel and Rexx.

Meet Creinthea Chritz, a Psychiatric Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner here at MyNDSpace®. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from North Carolina A&T University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Frontier University.

Creinthea began her career as a schoolteacher in the public school system in Colorado, having received her first Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education from the University of Colorado. She taught for five years before transitioning into Nursing, starting as an ICU Nurse and then as a Traveling Nurse before landing where she is today. Creinthea has been a valued member of the MyNDSpace® team since October 2023.

When she is not at work, Creinthea enjoys hanging on the porch with her husband and daughter, listening to music, or reading a book. She credits her family as her champions and carries the energy she receives from them into her practice.

Meet Johnathon Tucker, our Physician Associate here at MyNDSpace®. He received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). While studying here, he fell in love with the Charleston area and decided to make it his new home.

During his attendance at MUSC, Johnathon completed additional psychiatry and pediatric rotations due to his passion for these two fields of medicine. Johnathon is most passionate about working with children, as he has learned that prioritizing one’s mental health in their early years will lead them to develop healthy skills/tools to carry with them throughout their lives. He has never lost his connection to his inner child and has been able to utilize this in his pediatric appointments, making patients feel more open and at ease.

Outside of work, Johnathon is an avid movie watcher who enjoys going to the movies as a form of stress relief. When not at the movies, you can catch him being a proud nerd, reading medical science journals and comic books outside on a nice day. He also enjoys cooking new dishes, jamming to 90’s and 2000’s hits, and volunteering.

Meet Meghan Nyers, a Psychiatric Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner here at MyNDSpace®. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The Citadel and a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University.

She began her career as a Licensed Professional Counselor, earning her Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling over a decade ago. While working with children and families, providing individual, group, and family therapy, Meghan decided to return to school to offer her clients more comprehensive services. Having worked in many settings, including child advocacy, crisis, inpatient hospitalization, emergency services, and now in an outpatient setting, she is committed to providing the best mental health treatment she can.

When she isn’t working, Meghan enjoys spending time near the water, either poolside or on the boat. Spending time with family and traveling with friends helps her balance her busy life.
